There is no briefing. Participants make their own way to Wathumba Creek in their own time.

We sail to Platypus Bay Saturday; stay at Wathumba Creek Saturday night and head home Sunday. BYO everything. There is camping in the sand dunes available if you have extra crew. A permit is required for camping and can be obtained at: https://parks.des.qld.gov.au/camping/bookings

Please remember to be sunsafe and have plenty of water, and in case there is no wind enough fuel to get you there and and back.

You need to sign into Marine Rescue Hervey Bay when you head off as there is no group sign-on for this event. Remember to sign off when you get home.
