Crew Register

The Hervey Bay Boat Club Yacht Squadron's boat owners and skippers are always on the lookout for people to help them sail their yachts. There are various types of yachts to sail on, from fast multihulls to smaller trailer sailers and larger keeled yachts. If you are interested in sailing as crew (whether experienced or not) you are welcome to express your interest as a crewperson on our register. Skippers access this register when they are looking for people to crew on a casual or more regular basis.

Crewing

If you are asked to crew and you are not a member of our club you will need to get tempoary membership called a SailPass. This allows you to have 3 sails with the club before needing to join. 

Rule 46 of the Austgralian Sailing Racing Rules requires all participants have an Australian Sailing number. A SailPass will provide this if you don't have one from another affiliated club.
