Recently the Fraser Coast Regional Council Community grant expenditure was well utilised at our Kingfisher Bay Resort Regatta, held over the Fraser Coast Show weekend. The grant allowed the club to upgrade the electrics on our start boat and purchase an inflatable tender. Both were an invaluable asset at the regatta and used over the entire weekend.

The regatta enjoyed the participation of 10 yachts including 4 yachts from other clubs in the region. The upgraded electrics aided the start boat in it's role of starting and finishing the races, set courses and following the fleet for media coverage. The inflatable tender was busy ferrying crew to and from their yachts once at anchored at the resort.
